The Everyday Sublime
The experience of the sublime is a moment when the vast and indescribable form of the universe is revealed to us in some small way. Whether the glimpse is beautiful or terrible, it evokes in us an overwhelming sense of relief and terror. Relief in the realization that maybe life is not uncontrolled chaos as it often seems and terror at the concept that there may be some larger force able to squash us like an ant. This project is an effort to capture moments when I feel this form has been revealed to me in some way.
